Freedom Amendment G Sponsor Responds to Life Defense Fund's Latest Legal Maneuver, Following Failed 'Decline to Sign Campaign'

Sioux Falls, SD... Another Life Defense Fund court filing, another bunch of excuses for denying the people of South Dakota the right to vote on abortion.” That was the reaction of Freedom Amendment G Petition Sponsor Rick Weiland to the news that Jon Hansen’s Life Defense Fund has filed what Weiland called “yet another brief in defense of its belief that South Dakotans should not have the right to vote on the abortion laws under which they must live.”
“I hope,” Weiland said, “that South Dakotans will remember in November who fought tooth and nail to refuse them the right to vote. Who is willing to let you decide is the best indicator of who is telling the truth that I know,” Weiland concluded.
